I think the magic behind the posting coming and going again was the
forum software's behaviour with links in first time postings: when the OT
modified one of the URLs, the posting was sent for moderation again...

Not sure how you're getting the links, but I just opened the pls files
from http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk/listen/on-other-devices.html in a
text editor. You sound like you've found a harder way to crack this
egg!
(You can also just use the pls links too)

(All streams below are playable in VLC media player and latest stable
version of foobar2000 but note, these streams don't run 24/7, but they
probably would if more people used them besides myself and a handful of
others).

Have you measured or are you going by the info supplied in the http icy
header (e.g. ice-bitrate=128) ?

I guess you automatically be more trusted over time when accumulate
