'AlbumArtist' and/or 'Compilation' tags...

actually, i found a way around it: i moved all the random stuff to a
couple of folders, then used mp3tag to retag their album to Random.
seems to work with that option you suggested, cheers.
i think i'd still like a filter in there eventually but at least it's
manageable now.

i do have one question though.
my collection has a LOT of artists with one or two tracks each from
compilations, soundtracks etc. in fact, according to the playlist
