Hi,
I have my music folder on a mapped networked drive (z:\music). After
telling SlimServer to scan z:\music, no albums/artists/genres/etc
appear in SlimServer. It's as if SlimServer either can't access the
drive or doesn't find any music there.
The PC running SlimServer can access z:\music
You dont mention what OS you are running, so dont forget to check for
permission issues if you have the slimserver service running as a
different user account.

is your network drive some sort of NAS and that there is also a path
like
\\NAS name\music\
if so use that instead of z:\music

Thanks for the reply. OK, I tried that. Same result. Does it matter if
there are spaces in the path?
Check permissions. If your SlimServer is running as a service you either have
to allow anonymous read access on the share, or have the service run as a user
who has permissions to access that
