It could be that if, for some reason, SS has not been shifted to port 9001, that it won't start due to a conflict with Twonky, which would correspond to something you said on a nother thread. I would suggest that you use the admin facility of the QNAP to disable Twonky for now, and then reboot

Hi Could anyone help please. I have tried to open slimserver-109 on internet explorer. According to the instruction, it has to be IP address followed by :9001. I did that but the page cannot be opened. Then I was advised by QNAP technician that :9000 will do the work, but something called
