The specs on the Elpac are +/- 5% on load side. I found a regulated linear power supply with +/- .05% specs: http://www.mpja.com/productview.asp?product=6601+PS Any reason that would not work with the SB2/3? Note, it is only a 1.2A, but seems from the discussion that should be ok.
