Hello *,
I have installed SlimControl 1.52 (including registring and adding a
key).
When I start the app, it starts searching for the server.
And finds it to... :-)
After that it stays quite with the message Waiting for server
status.
Even when there are one or more players active.
However,
Hi again folks,
Got myself a Sheevaplug multiboot the other day,and am
quite proud to be able to report a successful outcome, except for the
fact that all my squeezeboxes are now 75 minutes ahead of time. I have
set the server to GMT, but cannot find anywhere to actually set the
correct time. The

The Android app works pretty well.
Hmm, so where's the breakage I guess is the next question... HTC or

Thanks for your reports. I updated my HTC Desire yesterday (no OTA update
there..) and was able to identify the issue. I have a working version here,
which I'd like to test some more before

AFAICT it's a SB issue on HTC devices only ;-). HTC phones have always been
problematic, but the 2.3 update obviously broke the workarounds once again...

As a BTW, there are USB-to-VHA/HDMI available for around $40.
I'd think about getting one of these setup before I started messing
with NIC settings.

Thanks, Bob. I may need to resort to getting one of those, or the
diagnostic cable that's made especially for the HP MSS.
I removed the critical drive with 58 bad sectors and I still had the
problem last night. Now the drive that had 1 bad sector is up to 3 and
another drive is showing 1 bad
You've looked at the error log?
Anything incriminating? Any warnings or errors about anything at all?
If they've hidden the event viewer from you, try start / run /
eventvwr.msc /s (without the quotes).
If that doesn't work, check system32 for eventvwr.msc. If it isn't
there, I can email you a

I don't know... it may just be time to build a new server.
I had too many issues with my MediaSmart. I only owned it for a few
months and then built my own and never looked back.

I liked that fishbone interface as well.I knew I shouldn't have
updated! In your opinion, is 7.6.2 that much better, or would you
revert back to a stable version pre 7.6.1. Now I'm
I have finally checked this and you are correct - Rhapsody channels do

Nothing else has this problem, not even Rhapsody playlists or albums.
Internet radio scrobbles as well.

On certain platforms the server seems to either not send data when
certain menu icons are requested or send corrupted data and this causes

I found errors in the event log that led me to some evidence that the
on-board NIC in this server has issues when combined with certain
routers and switches. Not enough info out there to know what combos
work and what don't, unfortunately.
I've ordered a USB NIC and Cat6 to replace the Cat5e

If the icon is blank, that means that server is not sending the icon to
