As long as your network is solid, sync'ing with real SBs is spot on.
With software players such as Squeezelite the results are less certain,

New to SqueezeCommander. Running on a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2. Several
problems and niggles.
Problem 1 - will not connect to my server. I have a good wifi
connection. My server is working fine (I can access it with iPeng) on an
iPod device. SC just sits there saying 'connecting'.

Squeezelite is good in this respect it is usually as lossles as a
hardware player ,but

I have quite a few suggestions to improve the UI but not sure where to
direct them. Two that come to mind immediately:
Firstly, it'd be great if the searchbar could include an x graphic

One more data point. I sync several real squeezebox players (including
one setup where there are two systems in the same large room, where
being off would be very noticeable). They are rock solid with no
skips, hiccups, or drifting off sync.

For good sync, the players hardware should be able to play back audio at
the right frequency and also there should be a good system clock.

I upgraded to 7.7.3 via the repo a few weeks ago, so this already is in
place. What goes wrong in your case?

C'mon Logitech, how about one last hurrah? Build your own version of
this with an onboard SB receiver!
The developer (flatterman) dropped out of sight end of 2011 and hasn't
returned to the forum. So no further development is happening.

There is something called OrangeSqueeze. It is actively under
development. There is a stable release and an experimental release that
is currently being updated regularly. I like it - it works well on both
my android mp3 player (phone form factor) and on my tablets (7 inch
samsung and 10 inch
Expensive though!!! For a single stereo setup, you have to buy 2 -
that's $800!!! I wonder how good the sync is to get them to work as a
stereo pair.
I wonder if the shape actually has 2 speakers in it...these articles are
pretty light on the details.

Argh... Now if only the keyboard on my Nexus 7 hadn't started to be a

The keyboard always wah the one thing I liked better on
I thought the android keyboard problems on my nexus 7 were something in
my imagination... But I guess it isn't :-(

It's working now. I am running 7.7.3 and clearing the cache worked.
Thank you for the help.
Sonos for the S series speakers are near the same prices so no
difference here really.
I am happy that some others are getting involved in this market place.
In end it is us the consumers that will benefit (hopefully).

I just picked up a Buffalo Link Station NAS for home backup and I'd like
to run it as my LMS/Music files. I have the drive hooked up to wireless

What do I need to do next?
There is also SqueezeControl. I like this app, although I believe some
folks feel it doesn't properly follow Android interface standards. I
believe the tablet version is offered as an in-app purchase for a
nominal charge.

Think I got this. NAS has LMS built in. I turned it on and player sees
it. I was able to switch to it with ipeng on my iphone. This was easy.
Let's see how it works tomorrow...
