Is there a way on the SB web interface to search for radio stations by
genre AND bitrate.
I would like to identify classical music radio stations with bitrates at
or above 128 or 256kb/s

Unfortunately, no. That has to come from the source provider and I
suggested that to TuneIn years ago. The only one I am aware of that
does offer this via the SB/UE interface is ShoutCast.

@ pippin
I'm interested in the new ipeng. Will it include playback or will it use
the original in app purchase?
Thanks

The original In-App-Purchase will stay valid (if enabled on the device
or through iCloud), if you don't already have it, you can purchase it in
iPeng 7 as well.

Regarding alternative ways of selecting and playing music, the user

the best I have found for a multi-platform UPnP/DLNA solution, and it is
free. It's a very flexible and logical way to select items to play in

No, disable the pitures in LMS, go to the advanced settings in LMS,
lookup music and artis information plugin.
Set to ' don't show pictures'
Then go to orange squeeze, in the right top menu click
@Michael, if you are reading here: is the Logitech App using cometd or

I'm wondering why Mark says the Logitech App doesn't have a problem via
UnblockUS, but SqueezePad isn't able to connect.

The normal mode for the current playlist is to have it in an overlay
like in the Mail App. You can open it using the playlist button or swipe
it in from the right.

In landscape mode only, you can alternatively pin it to the content area

The Logitech App only users JSON/RPC whatever it talks to. It's the
reason it only works from LMS 7.5.4 on (that's the first version with
full JSON/RPC support for menus)

Needs a recent version of LMS 7.8 , then works really well on your Nexus

Cometd if possible, falling back to json/rpc (we didn't get to make
cometd to work 100% reliably in JS).

Ok, this explains, why it does work via UnblockUS, as pure Json requests
will pass the proxy.
@Marc: I'm afraid though that such a connection scheme won't happen in
SqueezePad anymore, so when using UnblockUS, the Logitech App will be
the only one working.
