And here I sit is SA and require the Euro-Adaptor base-plate, the
two-pin one below the 3-pin square pin UK one! I have at least one US
base-plate, perhaps two, currently using one of them with an
International Adaptor but it is clumsy.
Shipping would kill the deal however.

if I understand correctly, you have the Europe and UK plug plates, but
need the US plug plate. An easy option is to convert the Europe plug to
US plug.
This should do it, and likely be cheaper than shipping from South
Africa.
