As your artwork is in the same folder as the CD you could save it as

save the compilation albums as cover.jpg.
Hope this helps.

On your previous setup, you mention USB access point. Does that mean,
your SB was connecting to your server via the USB socket (wirlessly),
and now your going though your network card?
Have you got a software firewall (such as the one built in to XP)
running on your server? Try switching it
the previous sb connection was via a buffalo wireless access point
(search on buffalo WLI2-USB2-G54) which is attached to pc via a usb. it
had is own IP address separate from the LAN card. i have Norton 2003
firewall on the pc (which was on with the other setup) currently i have
the router
I was thinking that the firewall may have only been firewalling the LAN
connection and not the USB. Make sure XP's own firewall isn't enabled.

Actually, you could just make a soft or hard link between
artist-album.jpg and cover.jpg to save space.

It does sound like an s/pdif problem. To help narrow it down I'd
suggest checking that the analog outs and optical outs are working
okay. Maybe also try an alternate cable.

Does this mean replaygain is functioning? If so, I'm surprised more

Anybody else notice that Internet Radio streams (whether via SlimServer

Internet Radio streams are about 15 dB louder than playback of my FLAC
music files. I am currently using Digital S/PDIF out, with the fixed

Nope - the fault is ours, not yours. The problem seems to occur if you
use iTunes and do not have an audio directory set up. That should be
unrelated to radio, I know, but it isn't. We'll be putting the fix
Probably the station running their output through a compressor before

Compression makes sense for FM, where people usually listen in noisy

I'm using SlimServer Version: 6.0.2 - 3085. Playback in SqueezeBox v1,

If I Pause then press Play, play resumes uninterupted for the rest of
