When you start playback of the MP3 stream on a client, it appears as
another player on SBS. You have to choose it (upper right in web ui)
and play some music.
I sometimes use this for my Nokia.

Within the last few weeks, the server is miserably slow. The machine

Things are much improved today. The system worked fine yesterday when
connected via ethernet; when I went back to wireless, I didn't seem to
have a problem. Over three enjoyable hours this morning without
dropouts either.
The problem seems to be when I select favorite radio stations via

desktop. It is taking a long time to run. Putting it on a Sheevaplug
would not be a good idea!

is stored on a NAS.
My work-around is to map my NAS to a network drive (i.e. M:/) and point

I've got both, and each has its advantages. Of the two I think
Squeezebox is the more attractive app (caveat: I am using them on the
iPad, but I do NOT have dedicated iPad version of iPeng).
My issue with Squeezebox is that it only seems to function in landscape
mode.

Do you have any 3rd party plugins installed? If so, disable them all
and see how the server behaves. If you want to find the culprit begin
adding them back in one at a time. Be sure to restart Squeezebox
Server each time you make a change to the list of enabled plugins.

compatible with my Squeezebox Touch any longer. The person at Logitech
explained that is would not be available until either Rhapsody changes
their system or the Logitech ap is changed, and he did not sound
hopeful that either
