Logitech were wrong to tie their devices to their SqueezeboxNetwork. Users of Squeezebox Server should be able to get along quite happily without ever accessing SqueezeboxNetwork, but Logitech made sure that this could not be the case. Virtually all unreliability I've experience with my Squeeze setup over the last year or two have been down to SqueezeNetwork... a service I don't even choose to use! Logitech have pretty much destroyed what for me used to be a great system. Most of their Squeeze related business decisions have been misguided and (I'm sure) will lead to the premature ending of the product range. [slim] Grooveshark support
Hi I would like to know if a developer might help in adding support for grooveshark. I know that many would like to see this supported. I found this plugin which enable grooveshark support inside MediaPortal, maybe a developer could have a look and maybe find some useful information that could be used for adding Grooveshark support to Squeezebox as well. [slim] No sound from computer speakers?

mysqueezebox.com by itself will not play anything on your computer speakers. All your music anywhere you go.. We can do that.
All it would take is combo players/controllers for iPhone, Android, and

I don't have a Touch or Radio so I tried a Controller (I use 1xSB2, 1xSB3, 2xBooms, and 2xDuets). The controller acts the same way as squeezepad. I tried ipeng with the same result. Im talking about the squeezebox server thing that hangs out in the sys tray. that wont play the music out of the computer speakers. Maybe i had the soft squeeze thing youir talking about. If i download it now,should it then be able to play through the computer speakers? Did that used to be a part of the squeezebox server before, cause i thought i had it working like that a long time ago. Yes, you still need to use one of the software players mentioned above to use mysqueezebox.com or Squeezebox Server. [slim] Original slimdevice working sporadically
I have one of the original slimdevices (Player: SLIMP3, Firmware 2.3 - see pictures) which has been working faithfully 10 odd years. Recently, it has started acting up. The display will work fine and then after a few minutes will spew garbage characters. Occassionally, the display will not come on but it will play songs fine. Today, it is not accepting any commands from the remote control. After a hard power cycle, it will play songs (I control it from the browser on my PC) but it seems to stop playing after a few songs. I not able to get anything to repeat consistently to help me debug the problem. I am running server Version: 7.5.2 - r31632 on windows7. Appreciate any help/pointers. [slim] SqueezePlay doesn't see Squeezebox Server
Can anyone help. I am trying to test out my tag structure of FLAC files using Squeezebox Server (Version: 7.5.2 - r31632 @ Mon Dec 13 13:17:22 PST 2010) and SqueezePlay Beta (downloaded today) both running on the same on Windows XP PC. I can play music over the internet but when I go to my music it tells me to down load SBS - but it is running already!! Rebooting hasn't helped Unfortunately my Touch won't arrive for another month and I don't want to rip and tag another 500 CDs in case I've got the structure wrong. Two issues I'm having: 1. When coming back to the Albums menu from the iPad's home screen I completely lose the index bar. 2. I can't play any flac files.
