Hello.
undo the srews in the battery compartment and then run your fingernails
round the case where the two halfs meet, the plastic things that hold
them together will open then. it does need a little bit of force
though.
Inside you have to undo the riser board to get to the screws for the

Anyone want to speculate on the length of the non-compete clause that
was included in the SlimDevices-LogiTech purchase agreement? I'd love
to see this happen, but I imagine we'll be a bunch of guys turning blue
before it does.

Yes, sure. You can make that one. I did that before by using one of the
squeezebox software players. I think there are a lot of choices on it
so just pick one.

Microsoft provides DRM free MP3s for all music you purchase through Zune
Software.
The Zune Pass gives you unlimited downloads, with the caveat being that
you need a subscription to play it. You can download it the 3 Zune
devices, and I think 3 different PCs. You aren't buying songs with

I would bet that any non-compete clause would have been time bound with
a duration of no more than a year or two. Also if the new company
were established in the state of California Logitech would find it very
difficult to enforce a non-compete clause of any type. California, under

Albums are showing up twice. I have noticed that this happens if some
of the tracks in the album are in a saved playlist. One of the albums
shows the tracks in the playlist and the other album shows the tracks
which aren't! Squeezebox is clearly reading the tracks as if they come

I run Squeezebox Server on a Mac, to an SB2 (and also a Radio).
Lately, some of the files that I have saved from the radio have only
been available in wma format.
As far as I can see, these won't play directly on my SB.
I can always convert them to another format. But is there a way of
getting
I've tried the following computers as servers for SBS:
1. HP Slimline Pentium dual core (XP 32 bit, 2GB RAM)
This worked fine with good performance and reasonable scan tims but I
had concerns about energy usage.
2. Emachines Atom, 1st gen, single core (XP, 2GB RAM)
This one was much more
AFAIU, Linux will allow you to run on 1/4 of the RAM and CPU capacity,
with better performance. (Or so I've heard. I use Win myself, and have
only tested Linux a little bit, but it seems to be the case.)

-that is not dead which can eternal lie. and with strange aeons even

And it can be used for other purposes as well.
We just user our main laptop for SBS. It's really a desktop
replacement with 17 screen, 2*500Gb drives, Core 5i 540M, 4Gb RAM.
With WOL it doesn't use that much power, 1,7Watt suspended, approx
17watt while streaming, 21watt if LED screen is on
Using remote desktop software for Windows or Linux, you don't need a
locally attached keyboard, mouse, or monitor. And if you're running
Linux and can manage a server from the console, you don't even need
remote desktop. And it's more convenient than physically going to the
server when you need
Depends on the scenario I guess. I am using an old 1 GHz thing in a
tower cabinet. It makes a bit of noise and heat, sucks in loads of
dust, and guzzles electricity, but where I live it's usually so cold
that the server doubles as a heater anyway. No keyboard or screen
attached.
But if I wanted
The mac mini also makes a good server. Very small, quiet, power
efficient.

Maybe an old Mac Mini.. The thing could run for years decades on the
extra money you spend.
By the way, the more efficient the Mac Mini, the stronger this
argument.

Before you ask about all the servers, ask if you need (or know) what
