I'm just asking because I'm seriously interested to hear why people
select Squeezebox over Sonos, if you compare their specifications they
are fairly similar and everyone more or less knows that Sonos just
works while it usually takes a
Sorry about that.. indeed I am completely delirious, I didn't intend to

I've got Spotify and think its great.

Yes, fair point. I've been keeping an eye on these since they were
first announced as a possible Duet / Receiver repacement. Ideally, I
would have preferred a DAC-less version too

Hi lawesson.
From a technical point of view, there should be no problem with using
dynamic playlists.
SqueezePlayer just plays what it's told to play by the server - and the
server completely supports the Dynamic Playlists if they work on other

Running SBS and MusicIP on a windows box? Having problems?
Go install the nightly build (33110 or later)
Michael figured it out and fixed it!
Not only is the odd behavior gone, but it's loads faster.
Thanks Michael!

How so ?
The Duet has been a fantastic investment for me.

A -lot- of the MusicIP issues on Windows were indeed related to
case-mismatched volume letters.
If you're running SBS in a win box it's worth upgrading to the nightly
(33110 or later). Even if the sugarcube problem is unrelated, you'll
have at least removed that complication.

I've read that there's some issue with the original SB3 ps putting
interference on the inbound AC line. Is the touch ps just cleaner that
way?
That is what

No problem with IR Blaster from the Web Interface or the SB Classic regular

Been a SB fan for 3+ years. I can't recall what lead me to SB or indeed
why I wanted to listen to streamed music. I remember, I think seeing the
Roku soundbridge and thinking it would be cool but on further research
serendipity brought me to the SB system.

but the stream URL.
Suppose this is a quirky way of communication between the server
I'm not using Dynamic Playlists so cannot comment on SqueezeCommanders
ability to handle them.
You might try the Logitech Controller App (if its running on your
