The 'flooding' worries me, though. Are the systems re-downloading the

We are investigating the exact causes of the disconnection.
However, we have found a work-around.
Many routers randomly change the channel in varying intervals.
The reasoning behind this is that the random

Thanks for the responses
I have given the WHS a static IP Address and also reconfigured my DHCP

In -my- case SBS runs on Windows Home Server. I had the same issue but
a restart of SBS solved it - maybe not forever, but for the moment.

How does it perform on the TouchPad?
You can post the makefile here and I'll commit it to svn.
I can post the binary on googlecode if you'd like. What version and
revision is the binary?
I would rather prefer you to post the binary on google

Try opening a web browser and typing http://servername:9000/; into the
address bar (where servername is the name of your wife's laptop).
If that doesn't work then use the IP address of the server instead of
the name.

Yes, it will. Yes, all of them. Yes, SoftSqueeze as well.

That will let the OP control the server - but
Given that he didn't mention playback at all, I thought I'd keep things

You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it
ain't what you'd call minimal...
Touch(wired/XP) - Audiolense 3.3/2.0+INGUZ DRC -
i believe SBS should support id3 in FLAC, (as legacy support) but i also
believe anyone reading this or any tag editor should properly clean up
their files, since there no longer is a reason to have id3 in FLAC. i
strip any id3s from my flacs.
in EAC, make sure your FLAC config has turned off
I'd guess that by access the server on the laptop from my desktop he means he
wants to control the server on the laptop - and so all his SBs - from his
desktop, not just from the laptop. (Answer: forget the desktop and use an
iPod/iPhone/iPad and iPeng!)

Nicely done s7mx1. Works quite well.
What kind of cpu usage are you seeing with the file types you're
streaming?
