On the Controller and Radio the info browser and extras folder is not

infobrowser doesn't appear so I there is a bug.
You should open a bug report.
On 7.7 there is also an Image Viewer plugin in Extras. ImageViewer menu

Hi folks,
I recently got myself a Sheevaplug, and am currently using that
with an external hd as a server for all my squeezebox needs. Very
happy!
With that in mind, is anyone aware of a Windows (7) program that I can
use to automatically update the external hd over the network with any

Have a look at http://allwaysync.com/
If you can get the file permissions right then it works fine.

true, my embedded art was never a problem, but I know for sure it was
always .jpg format, and nothing super large.

But if you have 10 flac files where to start fixing ?? Especially
with more than one art in each file
Remove the lot seems to be the best solution then.

Try Allway Sync if you have a Win7 machine - works a treat. Saves
having to remember what you may have changed on the original database.

real stereo doesn't just wake the neighbors, it -enrages- them..
In my internet explorer I have folders like the Beatles ,Rolling
Stones, ect. When I go to my squeeze box player and click on music
folders,I don't see Beatles folder or any others. The beatle songs are
randomly scattered. How do I get them to be in one folder named Beatles
so I don't have to
You need ONE main Music folder - you can have sub-folders under that.
You must specify in squeezebox server the location of the Main folder.

How are the files stored on your hard disk? A fairly standard way of
doing it is to use an organized folder structure, such as
\artist\album\tracks. From what you describe, it sounds as if you don't
have that kind of folder structure. If that is the case, my advice is to
organize the artists,
Perhaps I am confused?
What has Win7? The SheevaPlug or another PC, a DeskTop?
Anyways... If the sheevaplug has UBUNTU or soem other flavour of LINUX,
then you will need SAMBA so that the music folder can be shared over the
LAN. You can then 'map the folder' as a Drive on the windows machine.
I have one main music folder in IE with sub folders of different
artist, but the sub folders don't show in SB.If I go to IE and click on
the Beatles folder all the tracks come up. Why don't I see the Beatles
folder in SB so that I can just click on that and see all the tracks.

Yes and of course you would first delete the files from your hard
drive or move to a location outside the music folder that SbS points
at.

Goodsync its not free but not expensive and is absolutely rock solid.
You can set it up to run in idle time in the background when you arent
logged on. etc Its the only program I've found that I trust enough for
the job. Once setup, forget about it and it just does its thing and
will send you
On my Touch I get an Extras menu all the time, but Infobrowser appears
disappears at random :)
It's usually there after a reboot, but can go agaian at any time.
