You can use the Touch as a transport, while keeping your Classic for the

I have upgraded the squeezebox server . the music scna bug has been
fixed but a major problem appeared . there is no more possibility to
browse your music through folders . only by album, genre, years, new
entries, playlists ... Any idea ?

Browsing music folders works perfectly for me with LMS 7.7.1. Have you
specified the folder(s) for your music library under Settings Basic
Info?

with 580,000 tracks, server 7.5.5 takes about 7.5 hours to look for
new/changed, on my reasonably fast i7 machine. I still get timeouts
sporadically on the New Music browse (controller only, not in the web
interface), but I've found 7.5.5 is better than previous versions,
which used to time out

And have you waited untill the scan have finished, thats a setback with
the new version you can't acess by folder untill scan is done.
And cue+file don't work in browse folder anymore , there is a bug about
that in bugzilla .

OK, so I have iTunes installed, iTunes ticked LMS and it's scanned and
picked all the music. It hasn't picked up my playlists from itunes
though. I hadn't realised it should do that automatically. I can browse
and play albums, songs, etc on the Touch (and on the Logitech
If Logitech released a 802.11 player -without- LMS support, that would
be very stupid IMO. Not to speak of how utterly -disappointing- it
would be. So I, for one, am going to keep hoping.

Never mind. Restarted the kindle and the button at the top left now
functions properly. Previously it would give me a message wait until
the playlist finishes loading.
