I am planning to send a squeezebox classic I am retiring to a friend in
Australia. I envisage it being difficult for him to to find a suitable
power supply (the current one is for use in Japan).
Can any members of the squeezebox community in Australia recommend a
suitable power supply?
Thanks.
This one would do the trick -

Maybe you said something they didn't like, or asked for something they
couldn't provide, or maybe asked something complex so they don't want to
publish your comment before they have discussed it on a management

Thanks for that idea. I could find them in the UK spare parts store, but
not Aus - which is a bit barren ..

Yes, the polarity can be switched between centre + or centre -. On the
link there is a link to a pdf that shows different plug sizes, the two
silver prongs allow the selection of the polarity simply by plugging in
one way or the

If you read a few responses above (post no 4) in this tread, you will
see that Ralphy already answered this question - and there is no plan at
the moment for an ARM version of SqueezePlay.
Doh - Sorry - don't know how I missed that - apologies for the dumb
post.
I think this has been mentioned in some posts, but I have not seen a
thread -
Since updating to iOS 6, some of the features in the Logitech app are

Hi Everyone, my first post - today only the Squeezebox App for Logitech
Squeezebox music players is on for half price at $4.99. I use this App
myself and it is my favourite, with iPengHD coming in second. Link
below, enjoy!!
i guess sonos can have my money now then...
this really doesn't seem great.. i've seen the ecosystem slowly stagnate
from great beginnings (having owned a slimp3, squeezebox 1, 2, 3 , boom,
remote, and radio)... it;s a shame logitech bought the company...as they
clearly didn't really know what
Got this when it was on sale. It's the nicest controller app that I've
seen. Easy to use yet fully functional. Works nice on my tablet too.

I use SqueezeCommander on JB (CyanogenMod10), and have no issue with
that. I quickly tried the official app, and that one seems to work too.

I wish this was a viable option for me. Unfortunately, Sonos lacks some
key functionality that will require me to search for another alternative
once my current system gives out. I'm hoping Logitech will react
positively to Erland's request

Forgive my naiveté, but what is there to prevent some new company, say
FatGagets, from developing new hardware using the open source software?

Just a reminder that one Boom and Duet are still up for grabs.
$165 and it ships anywhere in the US. I'd rather see someone from this
community adopt them instead of me putting them on eBay.

Common sense and logic. ;)

The last Boom is spoken for.
Now, somebody make me an offer on the Duet.
I'll entertain all offers so don't be shy or afraid you'll insult.

I've used both the SqueezeCommander and Orange Squeeze on both my Galaxy
Nexus and my Nexus 7 tablet, both running Jellybean. Both apps work fine
with no issues.

have tried the hardware side to music streaming already and failed
miserably (Microsoft, Linksys, etc..).

Hi murrayb,
your Squeezebox is connected to MySqueezebox.com where local music is
not available.
In the web-settings of your Squeezebox-Server please enter your
mysqueezebox.com credentials. If you now set Use MySqueezebox.com to
Off in SqueezePad (as you want to use your local music again),
