Hi
My booms (both on MySB.com) have both disappeared from the home screen
!
The home screen says MySB.com (connected), but the players are not
listed.
Can anyone help ?
Thanks

Is Commander on LMS and your players on MySB.com? Or vise versa?

Are your players connected to LMS or directly to MySB.com? Tried
rebooting players and router and LMS?

Kind of. It's normally connected to my Duet via LMS, but this morning I
wanted to control my Booms via MySB.com.
The commander says it's connected to MySB.com but no players are
listed.
They work fine via

Well that was weird.
Despite saying it was connected to MySB.com, I re-registered my account
they are visible again.
Didn't know it could connect MySB.com without having account details...

Wasn't the Harmony line another company that Logitech bought rather than
designed from scratch? From, my admittedly poor, memory I seem to
remember they were Canadian but I might be wrong.
Mmm there seems to be a pattern there :-)

This sounds really interesting and count me in for a box if it becomes
reality.
It would be nice if a new box could integrate with the old SB-devices.
Couldn't something like this be founded using Kickstarter or similar?
There's a problem with the MySB login right now that makes it impossible
for an App to know that it's not registered.
Affects iPeng, too.
It's that way sine a change they did in December or so. Before, the App
got feedback from MySB that it wasn't registered upon trying to contact
and could show
Thanks Toby. I'm connected to LMS and have rebooted it and the router.
Is radio streaming working for you?

No issues with radio - must be your setup

Cant it just be a run once script that installs LAME or MAD or (insert

The issue I mentioned previously about the back button is not limited to
Pandora etc. Here's the various behaviors
Tablet (Transformer): back button on all Orange Squeeze screens but not
on widget
Phone (HTC Rezound): back button is there on now playing screen only,
other screens have next in
If your not the DIY type, you can get one off ebay for less than $20.00

Yes. Some of Logitech's better known acquisitions are Harmony remotes,
Ultimate Ears headphones, and Squeezebox network music players.
I wonder what they'll do with Ultimate Ears. The high-end in-ear moniors
have virtually nothing to do mobile computing. I suspect that a buyer of
Ultimate Ears will want nothing to do with the consumer products that
Logitech inexplicably tossed into the brand, like wireless speakers and
the Smart

I've never taken one apart, but I know a common failure on SB3 remotes
is the connection to the IR LED. Usually fixable by reflowing the
solder connection. I imagine the SB2 has the same remote.
Perfect, just popped it apart, resoldered the IR LED, and it's fixed.
And only

Logi bought SD 5 years ago now. I guess the management can write-off the
asset quietly without calling too much shareholders attention. Plus,
technology failed to gain traction on the market, despite significant
investment in marketing (or some bs to the same tune.)
I don't know if UE is going
I have the feeling that creating a squeezebox replacement with a sound
quality even better than the Touch - as worked out by John - would
attract the most people. That would be a true value proposition over
other devices, at least over those that can be used as a squeezebox
device.

Is the sound just as bad through other media players, Windows Media

I highly doubt it's Squeezeplay causing the problem.

Success! For those who go after me... I dis-assembled the unit (easy to
do with a tork screwdriver) and then had a really good go at the casing
with a dish scouring pad - the kind with a sponge on one side and a more
abrasive plastic finish on the other. Tiny bit of soap + water and about

Is this a tech-antique yet?
Nice job! :-) Might need to give mine a bit of a rub as well...

Tech antique? I think not yet. But a tech classic? Absolutely!! Nice job
cleaning it up.
