Thanks - good idea - have almost managed to get each using different
output - haven't managed to get settings to hold after reboot but
shouldnt be too tricky.

Seems to work everywhere except in the web interface. Navigate to a
track within an album, press 'Play' and it queues up the whole album,
and begins playback at that track.
I'm pleased that the SB Community is working on an opensource player for
the future; naturally I'm impatient for the arrival of this new hardware
(for no good reason, I have plenty of functional players).

1. Android mini-PC + Squeeze Player, or
2. Raspberry Pi + piCorePlayer.

Actually back in the days when this was not the default setting iPeng
went to great length to override it because it was always supposed to
work like this :)

Well I was a bit miffed when last December LastFM insisted on a monthly
subscription for their streaming service and guessed then that it was
not long for the world. I hate internet subscriptions. No surprises
then when they send me a note confirming they are terminating the music

When I had a similar issue with running SqueezePlay and Shairport
together on my Joggler the solution was to use Alsamixer for the sound
output, no idea if that's feasible at all but just a thought.

Meaning what, exactly? Limits to speed, dropouts, poor sound quality, or
something else?
Isn't sync problematic? Even a slight delay would be a deal-killer for
me, since I have several within earshot of one another.
