I have had a response to my 'stage 2' appeal from the BBC. Unsurprisingly they have decided to reject it and not forward it to the trustees. The substance of the response is the usual bureaucratic verbiage. I think it means that it's none of the Trusts's business how the BBC is run. Is it

RPi2 should be just fine for LMS. Run a Max2Play image on it and use a Class 10 card and you're set to go. If you wabt even more power, then get an Odroid U3...:) CommanderROR's Profile:

Thanks for the input. I don't have another remote to try with, but I looked at it through my cell phone camera. When I press a button on the remote, the light is blinking/flickering rapidly. But it stops when I release the button. Not sure if this is expected behaviour, but I think I'll try and

Yes the VPN will be slower, esp. if you use a weak (CPU- or RAM-wise) router. But it doesn't really matter. Let the router create a VPN tunnel to friends/family stateside, and put the LMS and players on this network at your place. Keep the usual router function and LAN for your other devices, for

There's no cable in there, besides the wifi antennae cable(s). Had you failed to re-seat the antenna cable socket properly on the card, you'd get poor wifi reception but I don't see that blocking audio out. Of course, volume is not set to 0, I suppose you've checked that. Perhaps performing a
