Your SB will output a standard line out level signal - around 100mV - so
yes you can feed a 3.5mm input with it. Turn the volume down on both
when you first connect though. Set the speaker volume at a sensible
middle level and then do the volume control via the SB. Alternatively

Per the above subject, I wonder if the Squeezebox puts out enough volume
to connect to a bluetooth speaker via 3.5mm jack??
This is one of the original ones that has an antenna and a small
display. Way before the duet... No built in speaker
I used to have it connected to a FM/Cassette/CD player.
Simple question. Has anyone found a control app - Apple or Android -
that gets anywhere close to IPeng. Orange Squeeze, squeeze pad etc etc
I have some philistine friends who are stuck with UPnP / DLNA players.

Haven't found a solution to this:
When I browse to the Spotify menu in Orange Squeeze (Triode's plugin,

Apparently so. Much as I love my Squeezeboxes, it is probably time to
seriously consider alternatives to meet the needs of our household --
some members of which use Squeezebox radios almost exclusively for
SiriusXM.

Michael, this is very disappointing. I think I listen to SiriusXM
predominantly at homeSinatra, Willie,CNN,HLN, Symphony Hall , Etc.
Is there any chance at all that this could be changed? It'll be a major
loss to the ecosystem. Thanks.
