Just a shot in the dark: Is the volume of your Transporter set to "fix"
and 100% ? Be careful if you use your Transporter as a preamp !
You could also try to fiddle with the audio settings for the Transporter
in the webinterface...

Just got a Spotify account, and while I can import an iTunes Playlist
into Spotify and see and play it on Spotify's Mobil & Web, I get an
empty playlist on my SqueezeBox Radio & Touch (The Playlist Name is
listed, but there's no items in the playlist).
Local files in Spotify are not supported.

And there's no where else to look at other than files in that prefs
folder and below?
Plugins can do whatever they want. But most of them behave correctly,
and then yes, the prefs folder is what you need to look into.
