My long term solution is relying for as long as I can on my current setup (1 SB3, 3 Boom, 1 SB2) and the spares I have in storage (1 Boom and 1 SB2). If/when I'll run out of spares, I think Raspberry Pi should suffice. I'm currently at a point in my life where I think my SqueezeServer might end

I have had it working. Its OK but of course Windows only and means you need a machine on and the ability to control it. On a similar theme I have built a Pi3 with USB soundcard that takes the output of my Hi-Fi amp and streams it as FLAC which LMS can tune in to - I can stream Vinyl, Cassettes

Has anyone succeeded in making this thing work with Squeezebox. What do you have to do? I've managed to make it find my squeezeboxes, it will load a music file, but so far it won't play. http://www.streamwhatyouhear.com/
