If you explain "dying" you might get some repair suggestions. It could be a failing power supply. Other options: - Buy a used one off eBay - Replace it with a Google Home/Nest device and use LMS "Castbridge" plugin; I think there is an Alexa equivalent, but I'm not familiar with it - Replace

If by manipulate you mean to control it as a player (rather than changing command line parameters) then from your browser simply choose the player that you want to control. Nowadays the popular browser interface is "Material" (find it in the LMS plugin list). Install it then go to
