What is the make and model of your device? I might suggest something, if
I knew the model. Also, mind that squeezeboxes do not use N for wi-fi.
So make sure to check your router settings for this. Anyway, there's
always an option to add an external router to your modem.

Sounds to me like a perfect application for 'the DAC32'

Hi All,
Yesterday, my wife told me about really bad playback on the kitchen
system.
At first, I assumed it was down to the Joggler that I added a few weeks
ago, as that's the newest piece of kit, but that seemed fine and the
playback was still awful when using the SliMP3 alone.
I switched the
Excellent! Thank you.

I don't actually know the answer to this, but I've never seen more than
four pages of history. That suggests the limit is around 200 entries.
Correct. And that value can be adjusted in the plugin's settings.

Thanks to this thread, I recently installed the -What Was That Tune?-
plugin. Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but do old entries drop
off the list at some point? If not, is there some way to clear it
manually?
Thanks!
If you aren't familiar with Planet Pootwaddle

Now, if you give it a listen, and you think "what the???..." just give
it a bit of time. I really like how they put a group of songs together,
either of the same artist, or related artists or subjects. There is

hey! I'm a boomer!
Will check out your offering chill, thanks...
Since you started this thread... I recently stumbled on a set of
"classic rock" stations that are actually much better and deeper (songs
and versions you don't usually hear) than typical classic rock. They are
associated with the

Indeed - the problem with most radio stations. I much prefer to let
DSTM do its thing via Spotify, based on a few seed tracks.

I let it play a bit yesterday (launch day) - and here is what "What Was
That Tune?" show (artists only since I have to retype them):
Elvis Presley
Culture Club
The Three Degrees
Petula Clark
Neil Diamond
Stephanie Mills
Johnny
I just found it on TuneIn and the track playing had the metadata
Deep Purple - Nino Tempo
First thought was I have never heard of a Deep Purple track called Nino
Tempo. It turned out to be a track called Deep Purple by Nino Tempo
[emoji3]. What do they have on their playlist? I hope that isn't
Will add it to Favourites. It is however a crowded field:
Greatest Hits Radio (with Simon Mayo on Drivetime from next month, Mark
Goodier, Janice Long, Alex Lester and Paul Gambaccini) - the new Radio 2
without the 'Hen Party'
United DJ's
Mi Amigo (Emperor Rosko)
All Oldies Radio
Offshore
...and a 192kbps AAC stream:

No, not some weird mashup of Logitech products, but a 'new radio
station' (https://www.boomradiouk.com/) in the UK aimed at the boomer
generation. Launched yesterday. Plenty of DJs that boomers will
remember from their youth - David Hamilton, Nicky Horne, Graham Dene,
Les Ross
