I think the first thing to try is to reprogram the Xilinx.
Remove power from the SB3, press and hold '1' on the remote while
reconnecting power. I believe you will get some prompt on the display
when done.

Thanks for letting me know that it's not just a settings problem. Seems
strange that all sources can't be sent to digital outputs, being that
it's a digital device and has 'digital processor loop' capability.

I have 4 SqueezeBox devices - an SB3, a Duo, a Boom, and a Radio.
I'm just using the Radio and the SB3 currently; I hadn't use the SB3 in
awhile, but tried to play something on it some months ago, and it didn't
work.
I wasn't sure if it was the old mini-stereo I was pumping it
