Where in the world are you (so that people can make an assessment on
shipping costs or even local pickup)?
Maybe one of the repairers here could do with some stock of spare parts
as well.

If they add it, it will indeed be an excellent news.
The company behind it is https://www.linkplay.com/homeaudio
They are behind a plethora of products, Smart speakers A/V receivers,
streamers (Marshall, Arylic, Belkin, Harman Kardon, Yamaha).

Hi, I have three SB3's and two Booms that I'm willing to ship to a new
home to anyone willing to pay for the shipping. I haven't tested them
in a while but last I checked at least a couple of them worked normally
and the others almost worked, meaning they would work for a while then
crap out.
This has been on my mind on what I want to do for whole home music
without a bunch of devices. I have a Touch on my main system. My
plan is to get an Android tablet with SB Player and use a bunch of
bluetooth speakers around the house connected to it. The only location
I really care about
I am wondering if the last few replies were using lame as intentional
pun, since there is a LAME MP3 encoder.

My Controller is starting to play up - I suspect the battery is coming
towards end of its life.
It gets used most days to control a SqueezeAMP in the kitchen which is
also controlled by 2 Jogglers (at opposite ends of the room).
SB2 used every morning and many evenings - screen still good but I
never really liked my duet. Eventually gave it away to someone on this
forum. but I still use two different duet controllers to this day (easy
for my wife) and I have a 3rd new one in a box somewhere as a backup.

Never had a touch. I went for the Duet as an upgrade from a classic,
and had frequent wireless issues, but the killer was a hardware failure
with the remote charger. I like that Darko emphasizes the software and
the community as a big part of his GOAT award.
Pi4 w/Allo Boss 2 Player (Wired),
Take care with AirPlay just in case the device is AirPlay2 only -
because the plugin is AirPlay1 only.
I have picked up a few old AirPlay devices over the years - generally
20-40 GBP each.

Nice show, true to the end.
I have 2 duets and one additional receiver.
No problems other than the power supplies for the receiver.
Did replace the batteries in the duet remotes, but otherwise awesome.
2 Duets controllers, 1 X Boom, 1 X Radio
1 X Receiver + Edifier S1000DB
1 X Receiver +

There is also Philippe's Squeezeamp. Just connect a pair of speaker, or
use the SPDIF out. He just built another batch and I think is starting
to send them out. You could contact him to see if he has any not spoken
for

The Chromecast Audio 3.5mm socket also supports a digital connection
using a mini TOS link cable.
You could

poor attempt at a joke, I need to learn to stick to the subject. I think
a bit of @Ronnie tends to rub off on me :). I meant that the stream felt
no need to add
Question for the OP... Do you have / want / need a network audio
receiver like Touch or Transporter, which feeds a separate audio set up?
Or a stand-alone piece of kit, like Radio or Boom, with its own
speakers?
