[slim] FLAC Vs WAV

I currently have all my music files on QNAP ripped in wav format. I notice most people use flac. Is there any benefit to use flac in terms of sound qaulity or processing resources apart from disk space? Thanks, ASenna04 -- ASenna04

[slim] QNAT TS-101 and Slimserver Starting

I had a power fail today and when I re-started QNAP Slimserver did not start. At least I think it does not start as I cold not see the interface at http://slimserver-01:9000/. How do I start it to troubleshoot to resolve the problem? ASenna0 -- ASenna04

[slim] Transporter - Sharing Digital Inputs on Squeezeboxes

rates of up to 768kHz (although some USB sticks may be too slow to deliver audio at high sample rates - 768kHz audio requires up to 6.1 Mbytes per second constant data flow) SO I think it looks future proof for High Resolution music. ASenna04 -- ASenna04

at 100% on the Touch using a plugin (can't remember which) since this feature is not there on Squeezeserver for the Touch. I am not using any plugin to control the amp. I use the original remote for the amp to control the volume. ASenna04 -- ASenna04
