I thought I asked this before, but can't seem to find it... Would you please consider possibly adding a volume control to the lockscreen plugin? I would find that really helpful; I'm often having to unlock the phone to adjust the volume, but I can do most other quick tasks from the plugin.

I was going to ask: is there any reason not to use micro USB as the power input? Even if people subsequently wanted to use a better supply, that could still easily be routed through a microUSB connector? Also, quite keen to do beta testing, if that's helpful.

There's a Squeeze–CC plugin isn't there? I see the thread, although I've yet to try it. Given that, I would rather use my CCs that way, with server software with which I am familiar, rather than start again with e.g. Plex. All depends on how good the Squeeze–CC hookup is.
