yes - They're for getting the stream to use compressed mp3s instead of flac. In my case, the squeezebox the server are connected via ethernet, not wireless - so bandwidth is not an issue. -- cfraenkel cfraenkel's

It turns out quicktime was not installed. I thought winamp needed quicktime to play the acc files - apparently not. Thanks! Now to figure out why the same problem happens with .ogg files. (they don't play either) -- cfraenkel

It is happening all the time here. At the moment, it is just one song behind, but often the display (and the web interface) lags 5 ~ 10 songs behind. I'll check out the bug report, thanks -- cfraenkel cfraenkel's

display bug (where the display lags the song actually playing) also appeared only after reinstalling the slimserver. http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=21362 Have never listened to the device through headphones. -- cfraenkel
