but for this i have to have access to the squeezecenter web interface right? and there's nothing stopping on of my technically illiterate friends logging in and sappign all my bandwidth... i wish it was a server setting somewhere -- gb115b

[slim] UK plug adapter for Squeezebox controller cradle

can i get a spare couple of these from somewhere? any ideas... i couldn't find the remote seperately (alreayd have 3 sueezeboxes) so bought one from the us, but would like the proper plug for it as with the adapter its too bulky... -- gb115b

seen the pics, but not seen it in action... to be honest i hate the web interface currently. it's just not as repsonsive or friendly as it should be. not sure if the 770 is the same... i just see no reason why there aren't more decent clients out there.. -- gb115b

had a look at the pepperpad...looks pricey (and the battery life is only 2-4 hours??) basically i just want a sonos style remote... and slimfx on a portable device seems the best option.. any other good combos ro achieve this? -- gb115b
