any ideas...
i couldn't find the remote seperately (alreayd have 3 sueezeboxes) so
bought one from the us, but would like the proper plug for it as with
the adapter its too bulky...

the best thing about the Slimserver is its open architecture, so people
can develop what they want for it, i'd sorely miss my audioscrobbler
etc. if i went sonos, but that remote still has that 'gotta have it'
appeal...

seen the pics, but not seen it in action...
to be honest i hate the web interface currently.
it's just not as repsonsive or friendly as it should be.
not sure if the 770 is the same...
i just see no reason why there aren't more decent clients out there..

i wouldn't be opposed to a non-touch sensitive one, the actual 1g wheel
was excellent too (though possiblity of unreliability due to it being a
moving part)

two transporters are a bit off my budget...and if i get one i'll have

had a look at the pepperpad...looks pricey (and the battery life is only
2-4 hours??)
basically i just want a sonos style remote...
and slimfx on a portable device seems the best option..
any other good combos ro achieve this?

ah the technet subscription seems cheap... i get msdn from work at the
mo, but might be losing it, i'd pay for the technet subscription

i guess sonos can have my money now then...
this really doesn't seem great.. i've seen the ecosystem slowly stagnate
from great beginnings (having owned a slimp3, squeezebox 1, 2, 3 , boom,
remote, and radio)... it;s a shame logitech bought the company...as they
clearly didn't really know what
I'd love for Transport Controls though in the notification space (some
other apps like Lux etc. seem to be able to put buttons in there, so i
guess it must be possible)...then it'd be perfect for me!
