the windows event viewer
("eventvwr" from the Run dialog box). Look at the Application messages,
and see if there are any errors from slim.exe. If so, that might help
debug the crashes.

I've actually been developing a Slimserver UI based on the CLI using
Flex, and am hoping to release it in
w). Not sure that's absolutely necessary, though. I suspect
CLI is the way to go (I haven't used or even investigated JSON before,
though...maybe it's just as good).
