[slim] Keep SC from adding folders?

Is there a way to keep SC from automatically adding files/folders to the library if I navigate to them by browsing to the folder? Now, if I do that, it's added as if I re-scanned the library. But I'd like to have it outside of the library, accessible only thru browse folders. -- ym2149
