[slim] Volume Normalizing with SB1?

Hi, I am using an SB1 in a commercial environment to play demos of CD's that we sell. I ripped the demo CD's to my hard drive as MP3. Is there anyway to go back in and normalize the volume, or does the normalizing need be done when ripping? Since these songs are played as background music over

I am running a couple of wired gen 1 SqueezeBoxes. Slimserver 6.1.1 has been running fine, but I thought I would try the latest version. I removed 6.1.1 and then installed 6.2.1, but it would never open. I removed it and re-installed 6.1.1. I didn't restart between the original un-install and

[slim] Want To Buy original wired SqueezeBox (New, Used, Refurb)

I am using SlimServer and SqueezeBox to play music in my business. I am playing demos of music that I sell. It's background music and we have a wired network so I think that the original SB is all I need. If anyone has an extra one lying around or knows of a vendor that has any, let me know.
