. Spotify can be on any computer in the same network, just make sure the ip adress you are pointing to is the ip address of the computer playing spotify. I do this with spotify on my laptop and the server on a separate machine all the time. -- Veggen

Hope they add SD/USB support to the boom soon also, so that it would be possible to use it outside of my network range. Thats actually all thats holding me back from buying one, and it just makes so much more sense for a portable unit. -- Veggen

Cover art now working, thanks! Still some scaling/offset problems if using non standard size cover art in spotify, but this nitpicking, I am happy. Glad to hear flac support is coming so that transcoding issues will be avoided. Great work! -- Veggen

New version working fine, thanks again. If you have the time, please consider including flac lossless encoding as an option in a future version. As the music has already been lossy compressed once, a second time should be avoided imho. -- Veggen

[slim] SS 6.3.1 crashing at startup

tempted to try a clean install, but don't want to loose all my settings. I understand there are some debugging possibilities in slimserver but I am not sure how to proceed. Any suggestions would be most welcome. -- Veggen

Update: Could not stand it anymore. So I uninstalled, deleted all traces of slimserver, and then installed the latest 6.5 nightly. Wanted to test that anyway. After the rescan everything is working fine. Hope it lasts... -- Veggen
