[slim] Squeezebox shuts down on reboot

Why does Squeezebox shut down every time I reboot? It's a problem for me because the box is located about 150 feet from my pc. I've got to get up, walk to the Squeezebox and restart it with the remote. Is there a fix? Thanks, Fred -- fredila

I'm using 6.5.1 I'm on a desktop that sends a hard wired signal from my DSL wired router to a repeater in another room. The repeater sends a wireless signal to the Squeezebox. Hope that helps. Thanks for the input. Fred -- fredila

Hi SuperQ, It's a Linksys Etherfast Cable/DSL router. The items attached to it include the DSL box, a print server and a connection to the cat5 line that feeds the remote repeater. Thanks for your help, Fred -- fredila

Hi JJ I thought again about your comment about removing CDs. Even though I didn't have any in the drives, I disabled one of the drives and the problem went away. However, I'm not sure why the drive would be spinning when there's nothing in it??? Thanks again, Fred -- fredila
