well, I ended up un-install then re-install SqueezeCenter 7.0 and now everything works. So maybe SqueezeCenter didn't like Lame installed AFTER it? Thanks for all the help though (particularly Andy)! -- hobieboy

[slim] How to use iTune as a slim player ?

songs unless the song has already been MP3 encoded in my iTune library. My environment: OSX Leopard with iTune library SqueezeCenter in same iMac. Tried to play songs through iTune as a player thru same or different machine. Anyone knows what am I doing wrong? thanks! -- hobieboy

ok, finally got SoftSqueeze to work... But, can I not used iTune as the player? The wiki documentations both say I can? It would be great since iTune can then pump it out to my stereo via airTune without having to get another SqueezeBox for where my stereo is. thanks! -- hobieboy
