Reported the problem to Logitech earlier today. Can stream any radio stations - not favorites, nothing. Tried on the classic, a touch and a SB Radio. Anyone else having this problem? [slim] iOS 6 Breaks Logitech Control App
I think this has been mentioned in some posts, but I have not seen a thread - Since updating to iOS 6, some of the features in the Logitech app are broken, notably the ability to set a sleep time only works sometimes, and displaying now playing after a favorite is selected takes upwards of 30 seconds. There may be other issues as well. Anyone know if there are plans to update the app? It's been a while, iOS 6 or not. I've been running AG for 2+ years with no problems - security or otherwise. It runs 24/7 on my mac mini and plays nice with with Mac firewall. The iphone app has also worked flawlessly. Buy one of the new wireless N adapters for Tivos. I use one on our porch, since the build it G wifi of the Squeezebox is not sensative enough to find our network reliably. The are quite easy find used on Craigslist or Amazon. It's free, it works well (could be a bit faster), and there is no learning curve since the UI is the same as what you see on the SB device. It found all four of my SB, and all four of my remotes are now in a drawer. If I was developer of iPeng, I'd be quite nervous. I say that as someone who found the UI of iPeng very confusing (I played with it for a few days than dumped it) AND quite like free apps that just work. [slim] Help - Internet Radio is Gone
Help please - I have 4 SB 3's connected to 7.5.1 of the server software. As of this morning, I can't play any internet radio favorites when connected to the server - they all play fine when I log into squeezecenter. When I go the the webpage for on sqeezeserver, all of my faves are there, but none play. Also, Internet Radio is gone from the menus of all the Squeezeboxes. Any idea on what to do? FWIW, the server software runs on a Mac (I have tried re-booting, and restarting the server). You can buy new PSU's from Logitech I think, or you could go to an electronics store and buy a 5v dc adaptor that outputs 1amp+. I checked these out last week and found several good options at surplus for less than $10. [slim] Simplify Media, UPnp and Squeezebox
I'm running simplify media on my mac mini to share my library outside of the house with friends, my netbook, and on my iphone. The simplify server has an option to turn on a UPnp connection. If I did that, is there any whay for my Squeezeboxes to see the shared libraries? It would be very cool to be able to browse my friends libraries from the SB rather than from the computer. Ii had the same problem. The only fix was to remove all traces of the Slim software from my Mac (running snow leopard) and then reinstalling the nightly beta build of 7.4.1. Both of my SB3's now work fine. It's drastic, but it did fix it. I use Simplify Media to stream my itunes library remotely. It works wonderfully and it's free. I'm fairly sure they make an iphone client. Add me too the list of switchers. I found the learning curve for the Squeezebox (I have the classic) is higher than the Soundbridge, but it does do more and it's VERY actively supported by Logitech. Their tech support is just amazing. The SB net connection is rock solid compared to the Roku. I don't have strong wireless in the kitchen and the Roku would always fall off the network, requiring a resent of the router. I have not had this problem in the month I've had the SB - it just works. I like that I can add podcasts to favorites on the SB and not actually have to download them. I also think the sound quality of the Classic is a little cleaner than the Roku.
