Hello all
I haven't been updating my music for a while. Have I forgotten
everything, or have things changed?
I log into www.mysqueezebox.com. I find my podcasts there, but I cannot
find the music I've stored, as I think I did before.
Or do I need to log in elsewhere?
Any help appreciated!
14 000 files are
registered.Unexpected stop etc.
All answers appreciated!
Regards

It's strange that it goes through set up fine and then just give me a
blank screen.
I have tried to turn of the firewall, but same thing happens.
Any help appreciated.

fine until about a couple of weeks ago.
How do I assign a fixed IP address for the SB?

The MAC address is correct.
The IP address assigned is 192.168.2.2:23277.
Right now my Squeezebox decided it would work again for a while, but as
soon as it stops again, I will check the other details!

Murphy's law, I suppose.
It worked for a while but not anymore.
Seems the IP address seems to change, the last digit changes from 2
they're all gone.
Is this a known issue?

Is there a step by step manual somewhere? I've been experimenting with
this for a while now, and I don't find it intuitive.

Whenever I access this page (forum.slimdevices.com) the firewall (Norman
Personal Firewall) turns itself off.
I've reinstalled the firewall and started all over, accepted all slim
devices pages, but the same thing happens all over again.
Is this a known problem?

A newbie question probably, but I've searched the forums with no
success:
Lots of my MP3s are tagged in different ways, not correctly, that is.
How do I retag e.g. an mp3 file, so that the artist, the name of the
track and they year etc. show up correctly?

on the left,
SlimServer will see the tags correctly.
Thanks, I've already downloaded a tag editor. But what does this mean:
Make sure you're only writing ID3v2, not ID3v1, and remove ID3v1 tags
from the files.

suppose I just didn't understand it, the
difference between different types of tags etc., but this is totally
new to me. I suppose I will have to study it more carefully tomorrow.
Thanks again!
