As far as I know, SqueezePlay isn't supported in any shape or form, and it's too buggy to be at all useful. I have gone back to Softsqueeze. Yes, it uses a lot more CPU, but at least it works. -- oivindi

[slim] Why is "server.prefs.tmp" constantly accessed?

I am running SBS 7.4.2 on a NAS-disk (Qnap TS-119), and it keeps waking up my harddisk when it's in standby because of what seems to be SBS regular accessing "server.prefs.tmp". Anyone have any idea what this might be? And why it needs to be accessed all the time

I tried to get some simple answers using search, but had a hard time finding one. So, is Squeezeplay available for Mac and Snow Leopard? I find no Mac version under nightly 7.4 builds. Do I have to compile it myself, or is available as a standalone? -- oivindi

An update: after much help from the inguzDSP developer it seems I am finally getting the plug-in (with balance control) to work with OS X. Lossless and MP3 are working fine, though AAC and AIFF are not. Hopefully just a few more adjustments now ... -- oivindi
