Hi Andy Thanks for the advice. yes I did try the remote button for SB3. The Boom does not have that control. I have reverted to v7.5.6 and everything is ok again. Perhaps there is a problem with 7.6 Philip -- pwt01

I have a very similar problem. Since the last update, the off screen on both my squeezebox 3 and my Boom is black. The screensaver is set to date and time and the brightness is correctly set. Any ideas? Philip -- pwt01
