I guess I'm just waiting for a download service that will allow me to
grab CD quality (or hopefully better) sound and use it on my
Squeezebox, Macs, and iPods. Until then, I'll be buying CDs and
ripping them in ALC.

I'm not aware of anything. I still would be interested in this,
enabling crossfeed out the analog RCAs would be great.

Agreed that you could do the burn and re-rip, but the quality would
suffer. Personally, I'm not going below lossless these days anyway.
Apple's lossless works great and usually runs around 800kbps. Storage
is cheap, suffering through low-quality music is not.

I agree I don't think this is likely...at least in a big way. I would
however love to have the ability to use the few files I bought from
them on my Squeezebox. I would buy more if I could use them on it.

I have a Squeezebox that was running on the last official 5.x build
and I noticed the other day that the Squeezebox would just go blank
after a bit, even though it's set to show the clock. Thinking the SW
was busted, I upgraded to the latest version, and that still remains.
Any ideas? The

mentioning adding AOL instant message (AIM) support to
SlimServer/Squeezebox. I would like the ability to send an instant
message to my wife at home. The display in my living room would be
perfect for this. I could imagine that
