One option: https://sites.google.com/site/picoreplayer/home This is an OS image that can run LMS and a squeezebox client on a raspberry pi, including managing the storage (external USB drive). There are other such images. This gives you server and client in one tiny low powered box. Or you can buy a pi and add the OS and install LMS yourself. It's a no brainer if you don't want to run another full size server. I run LMS on a PC running Windows 10. The OS forces updates on me which take a long time to install, and I don't have access to music when it happens. This is irritating to say the least.
