After I press the power button, my SB3 turns off even though
Screensaver when off is set to Date and Time (see screenshot). If I
leave the it on sitting at, say, the Alarm Clock menu, and wait a few
minutes, the date and time appear as expected.
This only started occuring a week or two ago.
check your brightness settings. The settings are different for off,
active and idle. You can do this through the web interface, or by
presisng the brightness key on the remote when you have your player off.
Pressing brightness button when off, changes the setting for brightness
