TLM,
my advice: go get a sugar baby and parade her around your ex but pretend
like u don't care and that you're surprised it upsets her.
u can't expect to win her back via pity or sentiment. play hardball and
enjoy some sweet tart while ur at it.
using: win7 64 + lms 7.9 & duet & ipads
So I have a Boom to sell. I loved it but not a techie. Wifi in my
house where it was was tough. Worked fine by router but lost streams in
my bedroom. Bought an Ocean Digital which works great in bedroom - at
least does not drop stream. Is Ebay the best place to go?

Thanks for the kind thoughts guys. The reason I am so reluctant and sad
is I actually really like my wife and honestly don't want us to break
up. I saw the kids moving away as an opportunity to spend more time
together and rekindle our relationship which has become colder and more
distant;
Yep, there's a lot of it about. It shouldn't be a reflection on either
of you. Remember the old saying: "Men marry women with the hope they
will never change. Women marry men with the hope they will change.
Invariably they are both disappointed."
Good luck.

My experience:
Bought our first Squeezebox Duet in 2008 for the living room, connected
to my Naim amp. This prompted me to buy a NAS (Synology DS107) to run
LMS (then SqueezeboxServer) and learn a whole lot about Linux and
networking!
Bought our second Squeezebox Duet in 2009 for the kitchen.

I discovered the squeezebox system via a complete different route. It
was 2005 and I was searching for a networked box with 2 raid drives. Now
the are very common as a NAS but then there was no affordable solution
until I found a USA based company named infrant (later purchased by
netgear) which
Moving to my squeezebox ecosystem, even with easy access to some
internet radio stations I really enjoy and Spotify, actually *increased*
my purchase of music. Looking at some notes, I see that between April
2014 and June 2019 (5 years), I increased my music collection by 21,433
tracks (to
I initially got into Internet Radio / Digital Music via Hi Fi with first

Over the years I've found that each change to my system re-energises my
appreciation of music. Getting my first SB3 was such an event, probably
the most significant over the long term, but adding my home-built
speakers made a step-change in the sound, which set me off exploring my
collection

For me, starting with a Squeezebox Classic, I ripped my CD collection
and the ease of use not only increased the amount of music I listened to
but

I went through a phase about 15 years ago where I rarely pulled out a CD
or LP

Having been there for the last couple of years or so, it's been fun
making something of a reverse move. I've discovered all manner of old

Sane here, just purchased 2 boom's. With lms on a pi I use it mostly for
radio streaming and spotify (thnx Michael). Now and then I listen to
flac music on a old XP box.

Not too shabby!
I have retired my one (beta test) Boom, but still have it. Have 6 Radios
and one Touch still set up around the house but the only ones I really
use are connected as speakers for the Echo Dots. Truth is I don't listen
to music much anymore, preferring podcasts and audiobooks. Not
Well, I have been hanging on for quite a while now... And I had a LOT
invested in the Squeezebox platform...
But sadly, it was time for me to part with my treasured Squeezeboxes...
:( Truth be told, I decommissioned my Squeezebox setup years ago, and
this hardware was just sitting around
