Just restart the computer! :-) Or -if you're me- the VM the LMS runs on
- same thing. Super simple and fast. :-)

That's great! I think you'll find Material very helpful. And not just
when you need to restart the server!
LMS 8 nightly

If you are not on your computer, and you haven't installed the
Yes, that does the trick. Thanks! Although I can't help but feel it
would still be a nice addition to the server settings, it definitely
addresses my issues (the biggest being that I frequently edit the perl
files in VSCode from a remote share and restart LMS).

As @slartibartfast has indicated above, you can restart LMS using the
Material skin web UI.

I've never seen one, at least not in the web interface. Might there be a
CLI snippet that would do it ?

I can restart it by sshing into my Linux NAS, but that requires me to
be on my computer and just generally feels like overkill. Is there some
way to do it from the web interface (other than installing a plugin?)

On Windows, I use this "RestartServer.bat" script:
Code:
@echo off
net stop squeezesvc
timeout /t 5
net start squeezesvc

On which OS is LMS installed ?

While I like that LMS offers to restart after installing/updating a
plugin, there are other times I want to restart as well. Is there some
way to restart on demand?

You must setup your Tidal login credentials on www.mysqueezebox.com
Callesoroe

speakers, Power-AMP Gato
Now you have added Tidal simply go to Apps / Tidal in whatever GUI you
are using.
If you are running 8.1.1 or above then you can enable Online Music
Library Integration - Settings / Advanced / OMLI

I did not get that popup. I simply restarted my computer as mentioned
above. Thanks

Do you not get this popup ? I think you should. I do (on MacOS
10.14.6).
33669
Otherwise you could use the Logitech Media Server app in System
Preferences
I am using version 8.1.1, and I am trying to figure out how to get Tidal
set up. I saw that it was an active app, but I could not find anywhere
to sign in, so I unchecked it thinking I would recheck it to see if it
showed up anywhere. After unchecking, I got a popup saying to restart
