This is the function of a DAC isn't it? But I guess your device that
takes the AES3/EBU (XLR) digital input might also be a DAC, so maybe
there's little point in adding another

I have a device that outputs digital audio via optical, and I need to go
into a device that takes an AES3/EBU (XLR) digital input.
Does anyone know of an adapter, cord, or some other passthrough device
