I guess until then or until I get an app, I'll just have to keep any
loose and or large blunt objects out of the music queuing area.

I read on the wiki there was a party mode type deal before, but that
it was removed. Still no native way to do this I take it?
Its pretty frustrating to build up a playlist only to have somebody,
even accidentally, wipe it out while

Right now AFAIK yes.
I believe 7.6 will have something similar again to at least avoid
accidental touch-to-play but I don't know exactly how that's supposed
to work.
