I see there is a bug request for Sirius and XM to be added, but I can't
tell what the status of this is. Has anyone caught word of this? Is
anyone out there already doing this?

If you hear something, please let me know. I have Sirius and would like to
stream it to my SlimServer.
you should sign up on http://bugs.slimdevices.com and leave your email addy in
the cc list for: http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=714
That way,
Being able to access Sirius web radio streams would be a really valuable
addition, at least for me. I Currently have one receiver that is
portable. So, if it leaves the house in the car, the house has no
Sirius except on the PC. Being able to stream those stations to the

I did have a look at the open source player
http://mak.zopelabs.com/xplay/ but I couldn't get perlthon - the
python to perl translator - to work.

Anyone know anything about XM Radio Online? What kind of bit rates it

Any chance that it could be streamed to a Squeezebox?
I just found the enhancment request in bug #714:
http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=714
Here's a link to a python-based Sirius online stream player with full
source code:
http://mak.zopelabs.com/xplay/
Provides everything necessary to build a crossplatform player plugin
for Slimserver.
All you need to do is port the source from Python to Perl and drop into
the Slim Plugin SDK.
